The Richardson Memorial Library of the Saint Louis Art Museum collects ephemera on artists in the St. Louis region. The information is collected in binders. When a significant number of pieces are collected for a single artist a pamphlet file is created, as indicated by a small folder icon 
beside an artist's entry in this alphabetical name Index.
The Artists Files are available to the public for research. The files may contain newspaper clippings, exhibition announcements, or brief biographies. Additional information on some artists is also available in the Library's collection of books, exhibition catalogs, and other art publications. These published resources can be located in the Library's online catalog by clicking any hotlinked artist's name appearing in the Index.
